Cambridge University is asking organisations like NACSO to identify excellent candidates for the 2018-19 cohort of the Cambridge Masters in Conservation Leadership. It seeks applicants with at least 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field, and demonstrated leadership potential.
This year, Hilma Angula left NACSO’s Natural Resources Working Group to take part in the Cambridge Masters course and she talks about her experience as an intern on NACSO’s Conservation Leadership Programme in a short video.
Hilma has been amazed by Cambridge, which is one the world’s oldest universities. “It’s like being in a Harry Potter movie” she said about the grand and ancient buildings.
The deadline for applications is 6th December 2017. Cambridge has a wide range of scholarships available, particularly for students from developing countries, and there is no fee for making an application for students from the least developed countries. For further information on eligibility for fee waiver please see the link.
By far the most important recruitment strategy is word of mouth advertising. So please do think about anyone you know who might be an ideal candidate for this course, and pass on the attached information.
