
This year, the annual Conservancy Chairpersons’ Forum will be held in different regions. The first one took place in Zambezi for the North-east regions. Deputy minister of environment and tourism, Hon. Tommy Nambahu, addressed the conservancy representatives and all participants present of the vital role conservancies play in the fight against poaching. At this year’s forums, the following topics will be discussed in different sessions: 1) performance and management of conservancies, 2) human wildlife conflict management and, 3) wildlife protection and law enforcement
