1. Advocate and foster development that is community based, gender inclusive, sensitive to the environment and sustainable. 2. A Khorixas based NGO with a vision to reduce poverty, encourage good governance and to improve the livelihoods of rural people through providing development and institutional strengthening support. Our mission is to build the capacities of community groups, institutions, businesses and other disadvantaged people and to facilitate processes that coordinate and integrate local and regional economic development sustainably.
Individuals and non-Namibian organisations (which are not eligible to become full members) may join NACSO as Associate Members. Associate Members have a practicing interest in CBNRM and rural development; they can attend meetings and participate in discussions, but have no voting rights.
